United with Catholics throughout the world, you answered your baptismal call with exuberance and zeal! “You shall be my witnesses” (Acts 1: 18), the Lord asked, and you responded, as you lived that witness, reaching out to your brothers and sisters in the Missions. Your assistance helps bring God’s love, hope and peace to all His children – especially the poor, as well as those persecuted for the faith, and those yet to know the salvation of the Gospel. I worked in Mission areas for a number of years and I can assure you of the constant prayers offered for you and wholeheartedly gratitude of those who benefit from your offerings.
