God is good!!! All the time!!! All the time!!! God is good!!!
We celebrate the Solemnity of Christmas which is the highest of all revelations of God. God cannot be seen, it is true, and no person has ever seen God (John 1: 18), but God can be met, listened to, touched in the person of Jesus. Jesus makes the Father visible. “And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us,” (John 1: 14) which in my language is translated as “He came and build his house among us.” The birth of Jesus reveals to us that the father loves us, God loves human beings. If the Father loves people so much, we live our lives in ways that show that we have understood what the father means to tell us by sending His Son to us. We become part of the love, joy and peace in our families, in our communities and in the world. This Tuesday I will be leaving for Uganda (Africa) for my vacation and will be away for 5 weeks. I will spend the time with my mother, brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. A priest from our Order (Apostles of Jesus), Father Bruno Dongo, AJ, will offer coverage while I am away. His home country is Uganda. He is currently serving in the Regional Administration of the Apostles of Jesus based in Northampton, Allentown Diocese.
